ICARS with its key aim on research integration and synthesis to strategic knowledge on climate change has critical roles to play through the Strategic Knowledge Framework on Climate Change in the overall NAPCC/NMSKCC architecture by its design and purpose. The ADRES (Adaptation, Resilience and Sustainability Network) is created to enable a collective and systemic leadership towards strengthening India’s knowledge strength on climate change. Besides the Strategic Knowledge, ICARS also undertakes, in pursuit of its core mandates, in policy processes, action research, research to strengthen capacity development, and case studies.
